Northern Cardinal

These pictures were taken back on January 28th, 2008 at Bentsen Rio Grande Valley State Park. The picture of the tree was taken last fall in Ontario. I had a request to use the picture of the Cardinal for the cover of a book but they wanted it in a forest setting, so I Photoshop'd in a tree. I think I still like the original best.
